Veil Christian Academy exists to unite with Christian families to provide an enriched Christ-centered education to students, while nurturing their relationship with God and empowering them to live purposeful lives for the glory of God.
Veil Christian Academy aims to equip each student with the knowledge, skills, and Christian values necessary to succeed in their chosen path, serve their communities, and impact the world by modeling the love of Jesus Christ.
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God. It tells us who God is, who we are, and what our purpose is. (Genesis 1:27-28, Isaiah 46:9, 1 Corinthians 2:13, 1 Corinthians 15:28, Isaiah 40:8, 2 Tim 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, 2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe that there is only one true God who is the eternal King, Creator, and Redeemer of all that is. He is perfectly holy, just, loving, and truthful. He has revealed Himself to be eternally self-existent – one being in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Genesis 1:1, Matthew 28:19, John 10:30).
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the one and only Son of God (John 10:33), was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary (Isaiah 7:14, Matthew 1:23, Luke 1:35), and is God’s Anointed One, empowered by the Holy Spirit to inaugurate God’s kingdom on earth.(Matthew 17:2, Matthew 23-25) He was crucified for our sins and died for us (1 Corinthians 15:3, Ephesians 1:7, Hebrews 2:9), was buried, resurrected (John 11:25, 1 Corinthians 15:4), and ascended into heaven (Mark 16:19), and is now alive today in the presence of God the Father and in His people. He is the “true God” and “true man.” (1 John 5:20)
We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature. We believe that humankind was created in the image of God to know and enjoy Him, yet Adam and Eve, and now we continue to, willfully reject the Lordship and glory of God for which we were intended. Because of this, sickness, death, and judgment entered the world and now creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin. ( Romans 6:23 5:8–9; Titus 3:5).
We believe that we are saved by God’s grace, through faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ. Anyone can be restored to a relationship with God through believing in Jesus. (1 Timothy 1:15-16) The Holy Spirit convicts, regenerates, justifies, sanctifies, and adopts us as we enter the kingdom of God (John 3:16–19, 5:24; Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:8–10, Matthew 19:28, Titus 3:5)
We believe in the ongoing, sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life and minister supernaturally (Romans 8:13–14; 1 Corinthians 3:16, 6:19–20; Ephesians 4:30, 5:18).
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of condemnation (John 5:28–29).
We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Romans 8:9, 1 Corinthians 12:12–13, Galatians 3:26–28).
We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as described in Scripture (Genesis 2:18–25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Corinthians 6:18, 7:2–5; Hebrews 13:4). We believe that God’s command is that there be no sexual intimacy outside of marriage between a man and a woman.
We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female, their biological and intended sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Genesis 1:26–27).
